Terms of Service
Effective: May 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of BabelBiz. By signing up, you agree to them. We've tried to keep them clear.
1. The service
BabelBiz provides a business phone number, a website, and managed customer-communication for small cleaning businesses. We may use a combination of human staff and AI to handle messages, calls, and scheduling on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to operate a business in your jurisdiction.
3. Pricing and billing
- $25 per month, billed monthly
- First month free for new Customers
- Charged automatically on the same date each month
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; you can cancel before any change takes effect
4. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fee. To cancel, email help@babelbiz.ai. Your service continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
5. Your phone number and website if you cancel
Your phone number is yours. If you cancel, we'll help you port your business phone number to a carrier of your choice at no cost, subject to that carrier's requirements. Porting typically takes 1–4 weeks; we recommend keeping your account active until the port completes.
Your website domain is yours. If your domain is registered through us, we'll transfer it to you. If we built your site on a BabelBiz subdomain, we'll provide an export of your content (text, images, customer-facing information).
Your customer list is yours. We'll provide an export of customer contacts and recent communications on cancellation.
We don't hold your business hostage.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your business and services
- Keep your account login secure
- Comply with applicable laws — including, where relevant, recording-consent laws in your state and the states where your customers are located
- Don't use BabelBiz for harassment, fraud, illegal services, or sending spam
- Pay your invoice on time
7. Our responsibilities
- Operate the service with reasonable care
- Handle your customer communications professionally and in good faith
- Keep your data confidential and secure (see our Privacy Policy)
- Provide reasonable support during business hours
8. AI and human handling
Some communications are handled by AI, some by humans, some by a combination. We aim for prompt and professional handling. We don't promise instant replies, and we don't promise that AI-generated responses will be perfect.
9. No guarantees about your business outcomes
BabelBiz is a tool. We don't guarantee you'll get more customers, retain customers, or earn a particular income. The quality of your cleaning, your prices, your reputation, and your customer relationships are yours.
10. Things outside our control
We rely on third parties (Twilio, WhatsApp, hosting providers, AI model providers, payment processors). If those services have outages or change their terms, your service may be temporarily affected. We'll do our best to keep you running and notify you of significant changes.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost customers, or lost goodwill.
12. Termination by us
We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk. We'll give you reasonable notice when we can. If we terminate without cause, we'll prorate any unused portion of your subscription.
13. Changes to these Terms
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated to active Customers by email at least 30 days in advance when reasonably possible. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
